What is the shipping cost?
We have different shipping methods and rates depending on your location. For more information and prices, please visit our Shipping and Returns page.
How do i track my order?
We will send you an e-mail with a tracking number relating to your shipment when your order leaves our warehouse.
When will my order be shipped?
We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 business hours. This applies to items that are in stock.
When will my order arrive?
Shipping times vary depending on your location and what shipping method you have chosen. Please visit our Shipping & Returns (länk) page for estimated shipping times. Please note that those are estimates given by the carriers, shipping times may be affected by factors such as customs, holidays, and peak periods.
Which countries do you ship to?
Louis Abel ships worldwide.
Will I have to pay any import charges?
We ship Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) to all destinations within the European Union and to the United States for orders under 800 USD, which means that you won’t have to pay any additional import charges. All other locations may be subject to local import charges.
How much duty and tax will I have to pay?
If your order is shipped Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) you will not have to pay any duties. We unfortunately cannot estimate how much duties you will pay if we ship Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) to your country, your local customs should be able to estimate the price.
Is my package insured?
All items are insured against theft and accidental damage whilst in transit from the Louis Abel warehouse to the shipping address. Once your items have been delivered, they are no longer covered by insurance.
Can I change or update my order?
An order cannot be changed once it has been processed. Please contact us at customer@louis-abel.com as soon as possible and make sure to have your order number available if you want to make any changes to your order. Items may always be exchanged for a different size or returned within 14 days after you have received them.
What do I do if I received a damaged or faulty product?
All our products are finished and controlled in our own atelier before being shipped to you. In the unlikely event that you would receive a damaged or faulty product, contact our customer support as soon as possible.
Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?
You can make return unwanted pieces within 14 days of delivery. Shipping fees will not be refunded. Please visit our Shipping & Returns page for more information.
How do I make a return?
Please contact us at customer@louis-abel.com to make a return. Provide your order number and reason for the return. We will provide you with a return shipping label, you must send the item back to us within 14 days of delivery. The return shipping fee will be deducted from the refund. For more information about returns, see our Shipping & Returns page.
How do I make an exchange?
If you would like to exchange an item, please return the original item and place a new order. You will be refunded for the original item in accordance with our usual return policy.
What is the return cost?
Return shipping cost is carried by the customer. Visit our Shipping & Returns page for information about your return shipping cost. We cannot refund any duties or taxes paid to clear customs.
When do I get my refund?
It can take up to 5-10 business days until the transaction is visible on your bank statement.
Back orders / Pre-orders

When will my product be back in stock?
We cannot answer exactly when or if an item will be back in stock. Sign up to be notified for when the desired item is back in stock.
What does back-order mean?
When a product is marked as being on ‘back-order,’ it means that the item is temporarily not in stock. You can still place an order, and we’ll typically ship the product within 2-3 weeks.

How do I know my ring size?
Please visit our Size Guide where you will find a printable size guide or visit one of our physical resellers where you can try on the rings in person. You can also order a ring sizer.
How long are the necklaces?
The necklaces vary in length, please consult the Description on the product page where you will find the length for that specific product. If there are more than one length available, the female models often wear the shorter version and male model wears the longer.
What is the difference between regular and mid products?
Mid are smaller variants of the regular ones. Consult the Description for the measurements.

How should I care for my jewelry?

How long does the gold plating last?
Louis Abel jewelry is handcrafted from solid 925 silver with a thick layer of 18k gold added to it. Even though the gold plating is thick, the plating can wear off. The exact time frame is not defined, the longevity of the plating is dependent on how you use and care for the jewelry.
