The following terms and conditions (henceforth: the Terms and Conditions”) are valid between you and Louis Abel AB (Reg. No. 559317-9244 )(henceforth: Louis Abel; may be referred to as “us” and “we”) and apply to all use of and orders placed on the Louis Abel website louis-abel.com, and orders made by telephone, e-mail or by live chat with Louis Abel’s Customer Service team (henceforth together: the “Website”). Please note that Louis Abel does not guarantee that all products presented on the Website are in stock or are available for purchase. Louis Abel reserves its right to stop selling a product. Louis Abel reserves the right to revise the Terms and Conditions at any time. Users are responsible for keeping themselves updated with such changes. Please note that the terms and conditions valid for your order is always the terms and conditions that is in effect as of the time that you place your order and not a later version. You should keep a copy of these Terms and Conditions for future reference.

PLACING ORDER
By using the Website and/or placing an order on the Website, by telephone, e-mail or by live chat you confirm that you have read the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, and that you accept them. Please make sure that you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions before you place an order. Before you place your order, you will be given the opportunity to review your selections, the information you have provided, the total price of your order and correct any input errors. Please note that products in your shopping bag are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers until you have placed the order at checkout and received the order confirmation email. If prolonged inactivity causes your connection to the Website to fail, your selection of products may be lost. In such case, you will be required to re-enter your selection of products to the shopping bag.

 

ORDER CONFIRMATION
After submitting your order, we will send you an order confirmation e-mail with your order number, details of the product you have ordered from us, your payment details and delivery details. Please note that the confirmation e-mail is an acknowledgement that we have received your order and is not an acceptance of the order.

 

ACCEPTANCE OF ORDER
Please note that all orders placed by you are subject to acceptance by us. We may, at our discretion, choose not to accept your order for any reason whatsoever without any liability to you. Once the order has been processed, a shipping confirmation e-mail will be sent with all relevant information about your order. The shipping confirmation or pick-up notification is our acceptance of your order. Please note that Louis Abel does not guarantee that all products presented on the Website are in stock at the time of your order. If a product is unavailable, we will contact you shortly, by phone or by e-mail. If we already have received payment for such product, we will refund you the amount of the purchase unless agreed upon anything else.

 

DISCLAIMER
Louis Abel cannot guarantee that the content of louis-abel.com is always free of inaccuracies or typographical errors, or up to date. Louis Abel is allowed to, at any time, change the site’s content and items available in the product range. Errors may occur, even though Louis Abel always strives to display the correct texts, images and pricing on the site and web shop. In case of you being charged the wrong amount when shopping from louis-abel.com, we will give you the option of placing a new order with the correct price or by cancelling your order. If we cannot get in touch with you, we will cancel your order automatically. Louis Abel cannot be held responsible for any damage caused from using the site or from not being able to use the site. DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
In the unlikely event that you would receive defective products, please notify us immediately. According to the Consumer Act (1990: 932) you are entitled to complain about defective products within three years. However, you must always notify Louis Abel within a reasonable time after you have detected that the products are defective. If Lous Abel consider the products to be defective, Louis Abel will make a full refund including shipping costs. Please see more information about your legal consumer rights in the Consumer Act (1990: 932).

Louis Abel acts in accordance with applicable consumer regulations. Please notify us as soon as possible after receiving defective products.

Our trademarks include (amongst others) the Louis Abel name and logo. These trademarks may be used or registered in more than one country and your use of this website does not grant you any rights to use our trademarks.  You have the right to review your information on file at any time. This can be accessed by emailing customer@louis-abel.com. If the data is incomplete or incorrect, you have the right to have the information corrected. All customers paying by card are subject to validation checks. Louis Abel reserves the right to delay any order if fraud is suspected. For security reasons, we do not store any payment information in our database. 

 

SECURITY
Louis Abel use Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information to process your orders. Louis Abel web shop uses the Cloudflare SSL Certificates, which secures communications by encrypting all data to and from the site. When placing an order, you can immediately check the security validity by clicking the SSL icon (usually at the top left of your browser, next to the address field, this may very depending on what browser you use) checkout. For security reasons, we do not store any payment information in our database.

 

DELIVERY
We offer different shipping methods to meet your needs as further specified when you check out. We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 business hours. Please note that delivery times are provided as guidelines only and commence from the date of dispatch. The delivery times do not consider possible delays caused by payment authorization and/or stock availability. To avoid delays in receiving your order, please make sure to provide the correct billing and shipping information associated with your payment method when placing an order.

Orders within the European Union are shipped with DDP (Delivery Duty Paid), which means that the receiver will not have to pay for any additional import charges upon delivery.

UPS – Home Delivery (3-5 business days) – Free
UPS – Express Home Delivery (1-3 business days) – 8 GBP
Orders to the UK are shipped with DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid), which means that the receiver may be subject for additional import charges upon delivery.

US
UPS – Express Home Delivery (1-4 business days) – Free
Orders below 800 USD to the United States are shipped with DDP (Delivery Duty Paid), which means that the receiver will not have to pay for any additional import charges upon delivery. Orders above 800 USD are shipped DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) which means that you may be subject for additional import charges upon delivery.

JAPAN

Free shipping on orders over 250 EUR

UPS – Express Home Delivery (2-5 business days) – 15 EUR
Orders to Japan are shipped with DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid), which means that the receiver may be subject for additional import charges upon delivery.

NORWAY
UPS – Express Home Delivery (2-4 business days) – Free
Orders to Norway are shipped with DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid), which means that the receiver may be subject for additional import charges upon delivery.

REST OF THE WORLD
Free shipping on orders over 350 EUR 
UPS – Express Home Delivery (3-7 business Days) – 20 EUR
All orders outside of the European Union and United States are shipped with DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid), which means that the receiver may be subject to additional import charges upon delivery.

The shipping times are estimates provided by the carriers, shipping times may be affected by factors such as customs, holidays, and peak periods. We cannot be held accountable for delays that might occur.


TRACK YOUR ORDER

When your order leaves our warehouse, we will send you an e-mail with a tracking number relating to your shipment. We aim to dispatch in stock items within 24 business hours.


INSURANCE

Each purchase is insured by Louis-Abel during the time in transit until it is delivered to you.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES


RETURNS
Items purchased on louis-abel.com are eligible for return within 14 days of delivery.
Please contact us at customer@louis-abel.com to make a return, provide your order number and reason for the return. Once the return has been accepted by us you will receive a confirmation and a shipping label. The customer must send the unwanted items back within 14 days of delivery with the provided shipping label. The return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. We cannot refund any duties or taxes paid to clear customs.

Important return information
– Items must be returned in perfect, unused condition. You can carefully try on your pieces, but you must handle them with care.

– Items must be returned in their original, undamaged box and pouch as this is part of the product.
– When returning by mail, please make sure to return the item and its corresponding box inside another solid carton box to not damage the original packaging. Preferably the original outer packaging used to ship your order.
– Louis Abel reserves the right to reject any returned items that do not meet the above requirements. If your return is rejected, you will be notified via email.
– Shipping costs for uncollected packages will not be refunded.


EXCHANGES
If you would like to exchange an item, please return the original item and place a new order. You will be refunded for the original item in accordance with our usual return policy.

PAYMENT
Louis Abel offers the following payment methods:

 

Credit Cards


You can pay by VISA, Mastercard and American Express. Visa and Mastercard are verified by a secure code. The order amount will be captured from your account as soon as your order has been placed. If you wish to cancel your order before it has been shipped, please contact us and we will issue a refund back to your account.

 

We do our best to make the Website as secure as possible. All credit/debit card transactions on the Website are processed using Stripe, a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon acceptance of your order by Louis Abel. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours or that you have been specifically authorized by the owner of the credit/debit card to use it. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment to Louis Abel, your order will be cancelled.

 

PayPal

You can pay by an already registered PayPal account, as a guest or choose to register at the checkout.

We offer invoice and part payment in cooperation with Klarna, please note that Klarna’s payment terms apply.
